Epion was established with deep respect for the kind of wisdom not normally found in board rooms. Our story begins with our Scottish founder and a love for the Hebrides. It's a place of wild coastlines, resourceful people and quiet strength.

This is a landscape that teaches people to make the most of what they have; to see value in what others might overlook. Importantly, it requires ambition while being humble. This is what we pursue.

We meet our clients' people where they are, both figuratively and literally - visiting a site at 3am for example, if that's the best way to connect with the people affected by change.

Founder
Nick has built his career earning the trust of clients and colleagues alike. He has led global and national consulting practices, including senior roles with the Big Four and specialist firms, bringing a rare mix of strategic vision and hands-on delivery. Our clients value his thoughtful approach and commitment to excellence. Meanwhile, everyone appreciates Nick's people-first mindset: he makes sure of his team's wellbeing alongside the success of their change programmes.

Ruth Tank

Director
Strategic thinker Ruth helps Epion grow in strength and reputation. She has C-suite leadership experience and a talent for building win-win partnerships. She’s led major change programmes across large corporates, local government, and SMEs, always bringing empathy to brilliance. Ruth is also deeply committed to sustainability, driving Epion’s carbon footprint ever smaller year after year.

Frances Joseph

People Director
Frances is a leader in people and change, with experience in both consulting and client-side roles. She speaks several languages and brings this passion to her work through a natural appreciation of different workplace cultures. When Frances leads adoption programmes, she makes change feel positive and lasting. Clients value her skill in managing stakeholders and building alignment, because it’s this confidence, patience, and care that really embeds new ways of working.

Nadia Higham

Creative Director
Nadia brings creative vision to making change clear, engaging and special. She believes change is easier to embrace when it’s memorable and easy to understand, and she works to spark those “Ah, I get it” moments for the people at the heart of our programmes. With a background in marketing, communications and design, Nadia has worked both client-side and in consultancy, developing approaches that resonate with different audiences and bring teams together around shared ideas.
